Despair of the Slayer
Desapir of the Slayer was written by Doha Bassiouni, Connor McCourt Hanrahan, Mason Hollis, Ruby Jackson, Zara Kayani, Kelly Williams and Lucas Young who all attend Claremont Primary School. They worked with JAmie Rhodes from Donkey Stone Films using the short story The Blood Market by Alan Gibbons as inspiration. Their story takes characters from Alan’s story and creates a story set in the future. It’s a great story. Film director Steven Sheil looked at the first draft of the script and worked with the group to make changes. The original draft and the final draft are included below so you can see the changes that were made for yourself. The film was shot over 2 (long) days on location at Claremont School and at Thoresby Hall.
