Children from Edna G Olds Primary came to Broadway Cinema on Friday 26th March for a screening of Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang. The film was released in the UK that day and with a 10am screening they will have been some of the first children in the country to see the film! The Nanny McPhee films are based on a book called The Collected Tales of Nurse Matilda by Christianna Brand and Edward Ardizzone.

Young Screenwriters has been planning with Edna G Olds Primary ready to start on a screenwriting, film and animation project after Easter. We will be working with 2 classes on Fridays. Jamie Rhodes and Sam Derby-Cooper from Donkey Stone Films visited the school on Friday 12th and 19th March for some taster sessions.
